Ahhh it's beautiful! I think you chose the right LO for this pic... it was too pretty to make into a scary Halloween LO! I love the journaling. Hopefully when she's older and having a rough day, she can look at this and know what her smile can do to and for people! Beautiful job. (And love the doodles!)
A picture of my 3 year old daughter, Jessica, on Halloween. I wanted to do a Halloween lo for this picture, but I thought it was too pretty for that. The journaling reads:
The first time you smiled at me, you were three weeks old. I'll never forget that moment; Grandma and I were both cooing and gazing at you while you were in my arms, then all of a sudden beamed the brightest smile I had ever seen from a newborn (no, it wasn't gas!). That simple smile touched my soul. And since then, I look forward to your beautiful smile every day. It reassures me that you are happy and secure, and that I am fulfilling my responsibility as a good mother, and that means the world to me. As we both get older, the one thing I will remember very vividly is your smile. I have yet to see one that compares. I know there will be many times when you will feel like you can't bear to smile, but promise me you will. When you smile, Jessica, anything that seems to be bothersome may just melt away. Trust me, it has happened. So, keep smiling baby girl. I love you, Mommy.
