I picked this kit because the photo and the kit both said "exciting adventure" to me.We've got a future bookworm on our hands! I wasn't suprised at how much he loved the Thomas the Tank Engine books since he is obsessed with trains. At 26 months he looks at pictures of trains and announces whether they're steam or deisel! But when we finished the last of the stories, over 400 pages total, and started on Winnie-the-Pooh, I was amazed at how he sat with rapt attention, listening to every word!
Journalling as follows:
"Not yet 27 months old, John LOVES to be read to. In addition to lots of small stories, we've completed reading all of the stories of Thomas the Tank Engine, over 400 pages, and have just started reading The Complete Tales and Poems of Winnie-the-Pooh."
