This card is based on one by Justine Hovey. First, the area for the colored section was masked off with scrap paper and masking tape (I pressed the masking tape against my pants first, to reduce the stickiness). I used Tim Holtz blending tools to add several shades of distress ink, and then I splattered a little water on it, with my fingers. Next, this section was coated thinly with Wink of Stella clear glitter brush. All stamped images and the cardstock are from Close to My Heart. Those images on the front of the card were stamped in black soot distress ink, and heat embossed with clear super fine detail EP. The rhinestones are from my stash.
