Give a Cheer
This card was inspired by the March Card Inspiration Challenge photo category. I saw the photo and immediately thought of using an embossing folder I have by Cuttlebug called Spots and Dots because of the shapes in the photo. I also wanted at least a few different colors on those circles.... so distress crayons came to mind. I first applied texture paste and let it dry and then applied the distress crayons to that with some water for blending. I don't know that I love the smudged look, but it works OK. The lacey bit is a part of a doily that was adhered to cardstock. The banner was cut with a die collection by Art-C. The sentiment was cut with a die from Reverse Confetti Design Co.
