I made this spring scene card for my niece who is away at college (I want her to know her parents, grandparents, and her aunt and uncle -- all represented by bunnies -- all love her and support her).

I used a Tiddly Ink stamp set of a girl and 2 bunnies, and 3 separate bunnies (the stamp set, called "Somebunny Loves You" is so old that it is retired and this is the first time I've inked it up!) to create this scene. It took some design planning, lots of masking, and a detailed Copic coloring, but I was able to make this a single layer card! I then tried to do a little watercoloring for the background, but not having this on water color paper caused some streaking. I was able to salvage the image though--whew, what a relief -- by doodling some scribbly light lines over the background with similar Copic colors. I actually really like the visual texture so I added it to the grassy foreground that I drew and colored in too!

Lastly to add a little extra interest, I cut away the edges of both sides of the card front so that little bunny ears could hang over the edges and I could bring in a pop of color from the card base. To finish off the card, I heat embossed the simple sentiment from the same stamp set on black card stock and hand cut it into a banner shape before popping it up on foam dot adhesive to add a bit of dimension.

I love the happy filled-with-bunny-love scene, and I hope it brighten's my niece's Easter break (during which she is sadly staying at school).
