My dear husband back before we were an 'us'. Actually long before then... LOL! DH immigrated to the US in his early 20s and was already a surfer, along with his brother. They are 18 months apart (DH is older) and could pass for twins back then. They used to spend all their free time at the beach surfing. Both had their hair long as was the style then and were occasionally mistaken for Milli Vanilli! (Which amuses me GREATLY)

And is also why I chose to scrap these photos, which have been secreted away in my night stand all these years. My March Music Inspiration song, chosen by Doreena, was "Blame it on the Rain" by Milli Vanilli. I used the line 'Gotta blame it on something' from the song in my journaling. DH is a bit of a style nut and I looove to tease him about those shorts and combat boots and his long hair. I had a third picture I wanted to include, but it didn't fit very well. He's got the typical 90's style of flannel shirt, grungy shorts and those combat boots. (He was and still is a huge Pearl Jam fan.) Aaahhh youth... gotta blame it on something! LOL

I loooved the clean design and eye-catching colors and title and really tried to recreate it with this page. Super happy with how it turned out.
Also for Music Challenge: #1 Lyrics with twist; National ___ Day: Make Up Your Own Day 'Milli Vanilli Day' March 26th; and my Hoarders challenge. Have had this old Crate Paper line hoarded for years and finally had a great topic for it. Loved this page so much I ended up using the same line for my DS's rock page next! LOL
