I am in love with Stampscapes! I'm just learning the techniques and only have one set so far, but it's a start! I began with Ranger Glossy paper. I decided how I wanted to arrange and later the stamps from the Stampscapes set I have. I chose not to use all of the stamps in the set and I layered and changed directions of where I placed the tree and rocks stamp, so that it created a little cove. The Stampscapes set I used is Nature Set 9: Lakeside Cove Small. After deciding my layout, I used Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink and a small block (these stamps come unmounted). Then, it was time for me to create my sunset sky. Using a brayer, I inked a thin line of Stampin' Up Night of Navy ink onto my brayer, followed by an equally thin line of Stampin' Up marina Mist ink. There are some great YouTube videos to teach you how to use a brayer with Stampin' Up ink! Following those instructions, I rolled those two colors onto the top of the card, working my way downward toward the trees. I cleaned my brayer and then repeated this process using Stampin' Up Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo. Finally, I rolled a very light layer of the Rich Razzleberry from top down to just above the trees, making a sort of purplish glow on the blue ink. Using foam too Stylus tools, I put more blue at the top two corners in an arch shape. I used my stylus to "color" the rocks gray with a Memento Dye Ink color called London Fog. Then I usedTsukunek Brilliance Dew Drop Ink, color Platinum Planet to make arches at the two bottom corners like I did at the top of my card. For the water, I went back to using Stampin' Up Ink, and used the Bermuda Bay color. Finally, I used a simple white gel pen to make stars in the sky and reflections of the stars in the water. I used white ink around the edges, glued it to a navy blue border I'd cut, and then glued that to my white card stock. This picture really doesn't do it justice. But at least you get the idea! So much fun!!!
