These are pictures from many years ago and I've been wanting to scrap them since they were taken, but I struggled with how I wanted to do it. Looking for an inspiration for the *APRIL* - NOT TO BE SQUARED CHALLENGE , I looked through my lo board on Pinterest and found this lo: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/217932069449042906/ and knew I wanted to lift it. When I looked for pictures to use with it, I came across these (as I always have them nearby) and decided this was the perfect lo for them!

I went through my pp and found a bunch that I thought would work together and then whittle it down to the number of pps I needed....I couldn't resist the bright pink/hearts, though, so I decided to use it for the banners. LOL I cut a large circle out of the floral pp, then cut increasingly smaller circles out of the rest of the pps so they would nest as shown. Then I decided I didn't like my uneven cutting (I used a craft knife to rather free-handedly try to cut the smaller and smaller circles) so, I decided they needed some stitching to distract from that. I whipstitched around the edge of each circle.

The floral pp was a really old pp I had and was not a true 12x12 piece...yeah, that old! So, I decided to mat the lo onto green cs. But first...I rounded the corners on the floral pp, then trimmed each consecutive pp and adhered them in the proper order, then I matted everything onto the green. I matted the pictures, rounding the corners of the pics and the mats, tucked them into the circles and adhered them. I found random embellies that I felt went with my pics and added them to the lo.

This is for the APRIL SEWING CHALLENGE and the *APRIL* - NOT TO BE SQUARED CHALLENGE.
