Here is the journaling: All my life, I have spent all but 2 Christmases with my mother, siblings and cousins. Christmas Eve is a special time for us. When my grandmother was alive we did it at our house since it was grandma's house, then after she died we moved it to Tia Mirta and Tio Rudy's house. Mi children, Nieces and Nephews loved it, we always sang Christmas carols. When my uncle died, then we started sharing Christmas, it was kind of sad for a while, then my cousin Rosy opened her house to all 40 of us, sometimes more and for the last 5 years Christmas Eve is at Rosy's. Now The next generation is enjoying the same values and traditions we did as kids. We still have the roasted pig, black beans and rice and yuca.
