I made this CAS card with the adorable, old Penny Black Tiny Treats stamp set. I love the sweet images of dogs and cats in this stamp set; they are so easy and quick to color up. This time I water colored the kitty image with Distress Markers to resemble a friend's black cat and simply popped up on fun foam the water colored image onto more water colored paper to create a very CAS card front.
For the inside liner (which is old colored copy paper that I think I've had for over 20 years), I stamped out another image, but excluded the "happy birthday" from that inside image because I wanted the kitty on the balloon to be an accent image and not distract from the sentiment (punch line).
The sentiment was hand written on the front to read, "Life's uncertain..." and inside to say, "especially at your age. Eat dessert first!" LOL
