This little tag has multiple purposes! On its back side, you can add To: and From: and use it on your gifts as gift tags. You can use it as an ornament on your tree. Or as a bookmark, or a refrigerator magnet. I simply found some scrap Christmas paper I had hanging around, and cut it to the size of my tag before gluing it to the tag and punching a hole in the paper where the tag's hole was at the top, so I could string that pretty ribbon through and tie a pretty bow. Using two colors of ribbon really added to how pretty it looked! On the bottom, I used Washi Tape with a cute holly and berries design. I then created holly for the top left corner with green cardstock, a Tim Holtz Holly Paper Punch, and green glitter paper. I added red berries with red Stickles and let them dry before placing them on the tag with adhesive dots. Then, for the square in the middle, I used Sizzix paper leather, and used the Tonic Studio Square Stitch Die to create a sewing square. I then used Archival Jet Black ink with the Ice Skate stamp from Tom Holtz's Christmas Blueprints 2 Set. Once the black ink was completely dry, I took my Distress Ink Vintage Photo and mt Tim Holtz Detailing Water Brush out. I tapped some ink on my craft mat, then dipped my water brush in the ink lightly, then carefully colored in the shoe portion of the ice skate and the outer edge of the square. Then, I used one of my glitter brush pens to create a soft sparkle on the blade of the ice skate.
