Journaling:
My name comes from Wagner's opera, Tristan & Isolde. My dad added the second n, changing the pronunciation to TristAnn and making it feminine. The legend of Tristan & Isolde was one of the most influential medieval romances from the time of King Arthur. This tragic tale is about the love triangle between hero Tristan, his uncle King Mark and Isolde, his uncle's wife. So, what's in a name ... the story of love.
