This is another page from Jerry's time spent in Mississippi back in 2008.
Journaling: "Harkening back to the great paddlewheelers that once plied the mighty Mississippi River, the steamboat replica RIVER ROAD QUEEN was built for the Mississippi Pavilion on the New Orleans World´s Fair in 1984. After the fair, it was brought back to Greenville and placed in an eighteen inch deep pond of water to serve as a tourist center. It is situated along the Great River Road, which parallels the Mississippi River from Minnesota to Louisiana. The second floor houses a small display of river artifacts including the whistle of the steamer KATE ADAMS."

The rays of the sun are stitched. The flowers, clouds, and sun are handcut. The scallops on the corner piece are cut with deco scissors and the bottom border is a punch. The border above the photo is also punched. TFL!
