This is absolutely beautiful. It is so clean and classy and so professionally done. I think I love that rectangle peek a boo die and may need to add it to my wish list. It leaves such a beautiful impression on that white background. I love the blue vellum behind the window and the branch that extends from the edge of the card. Your little flowers with jewel centers are always my favorites. The bird house and the little birdies are so Spring-y. Your "hi" rub-on is the perfect color. Love the tiny final touches of a twine and bow. Simply magical card.
gosh this is so cute! Really like how you created the stitching around the window. Love the effect of the twine tied to the branch, the hi is perfect, as always love the vellum. It just pops off the page.
I love the look and admire the skill that goes into creating CAS cards. It is, however, a challenge for me to scale back on my layers, patterned papers and embellishments to create cards in this style. The bonus category in the April Inspirational Card Challenge was to create our interpretation of clean so I decided to step outside my comfort zone to try to create a CAS card for spring. I used my MFT rectangle peek a boo die to cut out the center rectangle (it leaves those lovely stitch marks as it cuts) from my white card base. I covered the cutout with blue vellum and proceeded to create my little scene using a part of a ‘little bits’ die set by Taylored Expressions for the bird house, a branch die from Paper Smooches, leaves from a Cheery Lynn holly flourish die, punched flowers and Doodlebug design Sweet Roll bird stickers. The 'hi' is rub on letters.
Thank you very much for your kind words and encouragement! It really means a lot!
