I love this! That is so cool how you used that unusual key!! And, you're so clever to change the color of the beads with alcohol ink!! Love the color scheme, seashells and everything else about this wonderful card!!
Very pretty and rustic!!!!! Love the design with the "key" in the center...though, coming from you, it's more like a dagger! (sorry, now that you are on the mend, I am NO longer able to keep my naughty, sarcastic comments inside.....which has been quite painful!) XOXO!!!
This is just so pretty (beautiful)! I love your choices of papers and materials. I agree with others the burlap is perfect, I love that paper too. That key is awesome love how you displayed it and your little details are just so spot on. Love this card!
Beautiful card. That key is awesome. The burlap was a perfect choice. Interesting technique with the beads. I did not know you could do that. She will love it!
I love Myrtle Beach, it's one of my favorite places. You certainly brought the beach and beautiful ocean to life on this fabulous card. The colors and fine details are gorgeous! The shells are such special touches. I love how you added the tiny beads and prills to them.
I love it! I think the burlap is perfect; love the double layer color story. I love the alcohol ink and glass seed beads too. Such a wonderful combination of shells and beads. Very beachy. Great use of that awesome key Elizabeth sent you. Beautifully designed ML.
This is a BD card for my precious GD, Meggie! She is into sharks & anything ocean. The seahorse key is from my sweet friend Elizabeth (eapipkin), thank you! I was going to use fish netting, but way to lose a weave so I used burlap instead. The sea shells are from our 2015 trip to Myrtle Beach. The BG paper was printed from the computer & the other paper from JoAnn's. The stitched triangle dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs/Amazon. I added mini pearls in the tiny shell by the seahorse & glass seed beads in the bottom shell. The other beads were from ART-C, JoAnn's. They were clear & then you put some in a baggie with a few drops of TH Alcohol ink, mush around, pour out & let dry. I think Meggie will love it! TFL & I always appreciate your comments more then you know. Hugs~Marylou
