This is a single layer card I made for my niece's graduation. We're so proud of her. She's graduating with honors from Brown University and has a great job in NYC to start in the fall.
I know this is a time of lots of excitement, changes, uncertainty so I wanted to make her a card to remind her to: "believe in yourself" and "be you".

I made this with Concord & 9th Sophisticated Script alpha stamps in two colors as well as a magnolia stamp set (since magnolias symbolize perseverance, femininity, and nobility as well as the South, which is where my niece grew up).

I didn't want to distract from the CAS design with too many colors, so I just shaded in the under side of the magnolia flowers and rear petals by adding hash lines with a Copic Multiliner Pen.

I popped up the card front with double sided foam adhesive and adhered it to a watermelon colored card base to match the "be" and "you" ink color.

Lastly, as a finishing touch and to add a tiny bit of dimension and sparkle, I added about a dozen White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drop dots.
