A true vintage beauty! So many wonderful, interesting details to admire. Love the colors and trim. Adore the metal pieces you used. And the rose for the side trim is perfect and gorgeous!
This is wonderful...you are talented for sure. I just love these things.......and this one is glorious.......! And you are right a great way to use bits and pcs that you have saved......too good to throw out, not big enough for a layout!!!! LOL
WOW, SB!!!!!!! I know I say this every time, but this has to be one of my favorites from you, yet!!!! My goodness!!! The touch of lace and metal trinkets are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! And your side work....MY, OH MY!!!! Love this to pieces!!!! And, you are the one that said that first! I copied YOU, Grand Master of all that is Pocket Lettered!!!! This is stunning!!!!
I didn't see how each pocket which is a continuation of the previous one is some way, subject, colors embellishments etc. Now I do understand why you love making them so much. I wouldn't have ever looked at them to see a story. I did understand that all of them have some form of individuality but yet each on spawns off the other. Awesome way to express your beautiful work so others can enjoy you PL's much more. Thanks for sharing hugs Linda
Gorgeous Donna, I do believe you have become the master of these pocket letters. I haven't seen one that I haven't liked but vintage are always a plus! Great job!
Okay just when I think I found my most favorite a couple PL's ago you go & create this "BEAUTY". Yes, this is NOW my most favorite one!! All the lace, charms, flowers make for one amazing PL. Your friend is going to melt in a puddle on the floor when she gets this! Gotta love vintage!:)
I made this for a friend on Facebook that I've swapped with at least 6 times. We've become friends through the Pocketletter process of including a note or letter with the pockets. I also love the creative process. My friend Karin says "the pocketletter is like a little book, and the individual pockets are like chapters". That is so true. I find myself using lots of little embelishments that I never knew what to do with before. It's really so much fun making these. I really want to thank Deb-doodle for sending me a huge baggie of vintage items that I was able to use here. Thank you everyone for looking. xo
