Finishing my DD's 'Birthday Dream' page inspired me to get this one done too. It's been on my to do list much longer. I really wanted to use that Alice paper and the cool PW die cut, but it just wasn't formulating in my head. So I put it in time out. Last night inspiration struck!

Here is a fun photo of the tea party table I set up for the kids at my DD's 1st birthday party, which was a ONEderland theme. She's the youngest there (on the left waving her flamingo straw at everyone as if to say 'OFF with your head!" LOL), most of the kids are friends or siblings of my son's friends.
The park we had the party is the most enchanted looking park and I love it! Very shaded and wooded with lots of places to sroll and take photos. I actually did a photo shoot here with her in her Alice dress a few days before the party. (those are coming too I swear). I rented a kids-sized table and chairs and then set the table like a tea party with the Alice in Wonderland vintage plates, cups and serving dishes I found online. I made PB&Js and then used cookie cutters to cut them in card deck suit shapes (hearts, spades, diamonds, clubs); made rice krispie treats decorated like cards (previous photo) and generally went nuts with the vintage decorating.

I just happened to grab a shot of all the kids sitting at the table - with NO adults hovering. It was cute, they actually sat there for a while eating. I know she won't remember it, but I'm so happy with how this party came out! Cannot believe she'll be two in a couple months...

This is for my Hoarders because I bought that die cut and paper last year before the party even started! Plus nearly everything here is old stash. I especially love that clock with the funky arrows! Very Wonderland!

Also for World Party Day in the National ____ Day challenge and NSD Embellishment challenge, though I might change to a different page if given time... I kept the embellishmentssimple because of that busy bg. Really like how this came out!
