I've made a couple of Vintage matching contrasting layouts using the Christmas Vintage kit and have had fun scraplifting a layout by Ngaire Bartlam from "for Keeps creative scrapbooking" magazine featured on page 118(Aussie Mag). I've used the same technique of flipping the canvas in photoshop and altering the papers for a contrasting effect of the theme to continue on. This colour of my Christmas pages are bold and vibrant with nuetral biege and velvety green sanded and grunged papers to offset the rich satin ribbons stretching out from the photos. I've used the tin chipped paint buttons from the "Boy! Oh Boy!" kit to top the layout off, an original idea of mine. I've used the foiled gold guilded swirls to reach out from the quarter circle like twinkling flames. Added the vintage ephemera notecards and epoxy stickers to the photos. Completing the pages with some more golden swirl corner decorations. The photo is of my Mum when she was 7 with her younger brother Billy.
