It's not easy turning the quilling tool and taking pics at the same time. LOL! Your quilled circle will lay flat and open to around the same size if you use even tension and make sure as you roll the paper on the tool the paper is even, rolled on top of each other. For tight circles I put a tiny spot of glue on the paper every 2 or 3 turns and at the end before taking it off the tool. Also when you take it off the tool use your thumbs to push it off, otherwise you will have a spiral coming out of the middle.
