When I first joined the gallery and started posting my cards, I never imagined the amazing people I would meet and special friendships I would develop. I am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community of super talented and kind crafters. I have been inspired in so many ways by everyone here. So as we celebrate National Scrapbook Day, I thank you and Scrapbook.com for making this a fun place to share, grow, learn and encourage one another.

I made this card to celebrate NSD. I incorporated many of my favorite crafty things: Doodlebug design papers and a doodle-pop, bright colors and prints, twine, hearts, clear Wink of Stella, a slider (there is a hidden slider behind the frame that allows the scissors to slide back and forth) and my stitched dies. Yes, that is a pencil, I thought it would be a fun touch given that I have a little checklist tucked into the chevron pocket (you can see it in the next photo:). Here's hoping you have a chance to get your craft on this NSD!
