I like the clocks and the Wendy and Peter Pan usage on such a LO. The pretty soft pink is a great choice. And the strips of pearls are also such nice additions.
Forever Young: A double page shabby chic style layout featuring my sweet Biscuit as a 1 year old (jumping picture with ears flying) and now at 16.
I used the Wendy girl (representing me), the Peter Pan boy (representing my hubby) and "forever young" sentiment from The Greeting Farm's "Never Ever" (retired) stamp set as well as the pup from The Greeting Farm "Mini Remix Happy" stamp set (representing our Bandito as Tinkerbell by adding butterfly wings from a Martha Stewart punch topped with glitter glue) with no line Copic coloring.
Quote in journaling spot is from Peter Pan: "You know that place between sleep and awake, the place where you can still remember dreaming? That's where I'll always love you. That's where I'll be waiting."
We recently had another terrible health scare when we thought we'd lose our girl. Miraculously she pulled through. This double page LO has a lot of journaling that memorializes snippets of our lives together--through 3 moves, 5 career changes, terrible health scares for me and her, how we met my hubby, the addition of our 2nd fur baby (a Havanese named Bandito who stole our hearts) and how we got through everything together. Note the little heart at the end of the last journaling block, representing everything my sweet girl is to me--LOVE.
I used 2 patterned papers from an old DCWV paper stack from my hoard vault called "The Lace & Linen Stack." I used a Tim Holtz Alterations Weathered Clock die and Prima Vintage Clock die to create the tonal background layer just beneath the pictures, inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Spun Sugar and Antique Linen. I used old crocheted lace trim, buttons threaded with metallic gold thread, pale pink pearl trim, and 5 hand fussy cut paper flower images for embellishments. I followed the sketch from SCT Magazine here: http://scrapbookandcardstodaymag.typepad.com/scrapbook_cards_today_blo/2017/05/800-am-welcome-to-our-international-scrapbook-day-kickoff.html
