Leather Technique

The process will stain your hands and anything porus
Wear gloves and protect you working area
Cut-up a sheet of Recollections Kraft cardstock paper to experiment on before starting your project. The pieces are not wasted. Use them on this project or another for added textures.
Supplies:
- Recollections Kraft Cardstock Paper
- Tim Holtz Distress Ink- Walnut Stain
- Diaper Wipe- moist, not wet
Instructions:
- Set the Recollections cardstock paper onto a flat cleanable surface
- Remove the lid on the Distress inkpad and hold it upside-down over the paper+
- Add ink to the paper by applying a smooth evn pressure and move in a circular pattern around the paper
- Do not worry if small places are missed. It adds to the "texture" look
- After applying the ink, scrunch-up the Diaper Wipe and begin to blotch aropund the paper
- Lighten the ink in some areas, leaving some with darker spots
