An anniversary card made using the May Card Sketch Challenge bonus sketch. To make the flowers, I die cut white vellum using my Tim Holtz small Tattered floral dies. I shaped each set of petals then layered them. Next, I gently inked the tips of the petals with Memento Desert Sand ink. I had recently seen a tutorial from Marisa Job (http://www.spellbindersblog.com/flower-tile-card-featuring-celebrate-day-marisa-job/) where she added glitter to her petals so I decided to try that here. I brushed on some Ranger Multi Medium to the ends of the petals making sure there were no globs and then I sprinkled on Distress Clear Rock Candy Stickles glitter. I created two silver paper straws using thin silver foil paper. I adhered my flowers and leaves to them. I also attached a piece of ribbon from my stash that says ‘Happy Anniversary’.
