I don't have a Staz On ink pad, but I do have a re-inker. So, I added re-inker to a 1-inch sponge brush and used that to apply the ink to a brayer. That's how I made the ridges of the embossed area black.
The Cricut cuts and the Happy Birthday and ribbon stamps are from Close to My Heart. I used black embossing powder on the stamped images. I also covered the oval piece with black heat embossing.
