Hi everyone! This is the Pocket Letter I made for Katerina for this month's swap! Butterflies are something I usually always try to add to a layout or feminine cards! I love them! So when I found out that was one of the theme choices I was thrilled. These are pictures of the real thing that I printed and fussy cut. I don't know their actual sizes but they are so pretty. I have so many I couldn't even use although I did give several in my extra goodies to Katerina! I posted closeups so you can see them a little better. I had trouble picking out papers for making the cards so I went with watercolor paper and inked in coordinating colors with Tim Holtz distress ink pads, then did random stamping on each one. The hanging ribbon on the side with butterfly charms is some rayon seam binding that was my mom's and in the original packaging for $0.25!! I inked it up with TH Salty Ocean and Antique Linen, wadded it up and wrapped in a rubberband until dried. It was so tight I ended up dampening it down with water so it would drape better! :-)

The center butterfly is mounted on a beautiful #5 Doily chippie from Dusty Attic. I used liquid pearls in Orchid and Ballerina to color it up. I used the smaller butterfly because the bigger one covered too much of it up!

Thank you all so much for viewing my gallery! I appreciate it more than words can say!
