The way you can tie your uglies together will forever astound me! Not a lot of muss & fuss, but you can get uglies to come together like you picked the papers out on purpose!
I love the colors in this layout. The tie-dye look circle is perfect for colored lights and dancing waters. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the story. It must have been fascinating to watch though.
those are ugly papers? WOW! You'd never know-they are perfect here! Sorry it was boring but youre right--family time...your handwriting is to die for!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. You pulled some amazing mojo with those ugly papers. I had visions of some psychedelic spring thing going on, but this is so much better! The little Echo Park embellishments (nothing against the ones Sonja sent, of course) gave this layout a nice pulled together and finished look. Great job.
Terrific job with the uglies, like the tie die circle and title...we saw this show last year (Father's Day weekend) and you're right it was just okay not as exciting as the ones we've seen before.
Oh no... CJ is on to me.... HEY!! There was one more embellie that was SPECIFICALLY for you, Doreen! Check again! I know you'll rock these, though they look worse now than they did when I mailed them....
Journaling: "We took Madi out to see Cirque Du Soliel's new "Avatar" inspired show Turok; Joseph was out of town. Unfortunately we weren't impressed. The scenery was gorgeous but the story and action was boring! Well, at least we had Family Time. 11.5.16"
***Just realized I forgot to fix the "year" on the date. I had originally wrote '17 so I whited it out so I can fix it to '16, but forgot to fix it, LOL***
For the following June Challenges:
>Ugly Paper The Tie Dye and the Pink "tree Branch" papers were my uglies. (Click on 2nd image) I used the "Tie Dye" PP for all my circles (3 Total) and the "Tree Branch" PP for all my triangles (3 Total). I also used 2 of the 4 ugly embellishments: The large "@" sign which was beige but I sprayed it an iridescent teal color AND the pink jeweled border under the photos.
>No to Be Squared Every shape on here, except for 1, is "Not a Square". I used circles, triangles, a banner, and rounded-cornered items.
>Sticker I used 9 ... 11 if you count washi - Alphas (5) -Hearts (2) -Pink jeweled border strip -Frame ? -Washi (2)- *NO TWIST*
>Hoarders 14 items -Alphas (5) -Hearts (2) -PL Cards (2) -Frame -Memories View Finder Embellishment -Washi Tape (2) -BG paper
>Pick a Technique I picked 2 of the 3: "spray" and "punch" I used my Heidi Swap spray to change the large "@" from beige to teal and I used my circle punch to cut out small circles from the "Tie Dye" PP
