You should post this to the pet challenge thread too: us pet folks are always looking for gorgeous creatures like Hobo to heap praise upon. The undoubted scrapbooking talents of their owners are also acknowledged, of course, but it's mostly about the critters ;-)

A layout should function to showcase a photo. As much fun as it is to play with papers, inks, and embellishments, and as great as it is to learn new techniques - the bottom line always has to come down to the photograph. BRAVO. The very first thing I noticed when I pulled this up is that cat's eyes - staring right into the camera. The grid work in the layout matching up with the railings on the deck, the soft colors of the photo in contrast to the bright colors of the papers. Gads, this is what it's all ABOUT! Balance, beauty, and photographs. GREAT job!

Great design - the railing in the photo. and the grid for the boxes work beautifully together. No sign of ugly paper; beautiful cat, however.

The picture of him is awesome sitting like that on the railing! The mix of pp's actually works great! Love the grids with the jounaling and the little mouse, & the pp you chose to cut the banner out of. (Too funny that I also have the paper you used as the back ground!)
