The Beach is Better with Friends

These two... My son and his bestie. Probably half the photos I've taken over the last five years have Genevieve in them. Her momma and I are BFFs and these two get along like peas and carrots. Case in point: we are in the process of planning their JOINT 5th birthday party this weekend and they agreed without any argument for a Trolls theme party.
Anyway, this was a fun afternoon at the beach after a 3-day camping trip to Lake Casitas north of Oxnard. The 'lake' was really low and no swimming allowed (only fishing, see previous page) so we decided after we left the campsite to head off to the beach for a few hours and these two went right in!

This is for the June Ugly Paper Challenge - though I think Pat (Gentlewood Farms) went easy on me because even before I scrapped this, those papers were not ugly to me! It's the salmon-color hibiscus paper on the left and those fussy cut yellow flowers. The embellie was a 4th of July pack of puffy stickers and I used the 'The', 'Beautiful' and 'US' stickers.

Also for National Best Friends Day (June 8th), Sports & Play (Play), Not To Be Squared and my Hoarders challenges. I've hoarded that glitter glass that I got from Reneabouquets last year and finally busted it out!
