I grew up in So Cal and loved summer fruits. The title of this card is actually a couple of lines from an 80s California summer fruits commercial! Now I live in Georgia, the peach state, so when I first saw this Penny Black stamp called "You Are a Peach" I knew I had to have it. :)

I kept this card simple. I stamped the image with lighter ink and Copic colored the image as well as a sandy beach ground and blue sky with wispy clouds. To add a little interest, I also die cut out a thin stitched rectangle frame and mounted it with rolled double sided tape to add a tiny bit of dimension. I like how the image goes beyond the framing--somehow I think the rectilinear frame makes the image look like there is even more movement!
