Those eyelets really bump your project up to the next level! This is such a nice project - obviously thought out in design and execution. All the small parts - from the tearing of the base paper around the circle, to the final embellished brad, it's just great.

This is a pic from my 29th birthday...I don't scrap myself much, so this was much more difficult to scrap than I thought it would be!
I matted the background pp onto blue cs and stitched around the edges. I distressed the edges of the cs. I cut a large circle from the brick pp, then cut the edges with scalloped scissors. I adhered that circle to blue pp and tore the blue pp around the circle. I added eyelets rather randomly to the scallops on the brick pp, then ran twine through them. I matted the picture and added tons of embellishments...mostly chipboard, bling, and epoxy brads.
