Robyn - I LOVE it. And you know I am going to make a suggestion - how about a vertical strip of the purple PP on the right side toward the bottom 1/2 of the page (lace under the ribbon) - to balance the lettering? either way, I really like it a lot, Babe!
1. Anything Bohemian Chic, retro, doodles... which in my mind's eye includes paisley (but not paisley paper, odd). So, I found this paisley stamp, right after K proposed the challenge, which was PERFECT! And, I tried to doodle a bit around the ribbon and on the side of the "princess" sign, but still can't bring myself to get too nutty with it. I'll have to play around some more, but it's a start, right?
2. Strip Journaling (not like strip poker) I love when people do their journaling on seperate strips of paper and layer them on top of photos. Just so happens that I had these pre-made words by Basic Gray, and I used these because they went with my theme and color scheme.
3. Using just one photo on a 12x12 layout. I'm usually guilty of sticking at least 3 or more pics on one page, mainly because I don't want to waste the space. I do love the look of one photo though, and I burned the edges, which is a technique I saw on another LO and have been dying to try but was too afraid until now!
