Card for Grandmother Turning 99

I made this card for a friend and her grandmother, both of whose birthdays are this month.

My friend lives in So. Cal. and her grandmother lives in S. Korea, so I decided to make a scene card depicting each of them at the beach holding up their national flags -- I thought this would make a nice patriotic and summery birthday card, representing both ladies, who are separated by an ocean but together in love and spirit.

I Copic colored image stamps from The Greeting Farm's Sunny Kit stamp set. Paper pieced their outfits with papers from American Crafts and Doodlebug Designs. And I freehand drew/colored in the background scenes with Copic markers and a Stabilo Uni-ball white gel pen.

I hope both enjoy and like this special personalized card I designed and crafted for them.
