My song for the June Music Inspiration challenge was "Man to Man" by Gary Allen. It's about a man who stepped up to take care of the woman he was love it when the other walked out on her (as I took it). I was thinking about how Rich, the man who married my mother. He's been my Father since I was 3 yrs old (I never met the man I share DNA with). Rich and my mother have been together for 32 yrs now. He's the one man I've ever called Dad. He's the only Dad that mattered to me and last June, he adopted me - at 33 yrs old :) He's the reason behind why I chose my song for June's challenge "He Didn't Have to Be" - about a man who will become his Dad. I could definitely relate.
