Here's my entry for the Crazy4colour challenge. When I first saw the colours mentioned in the challenge, I thought it was a very strange combination and that's also the reason why I chose to enter. I would never put these 2 colours together as the Primary focus of my page. While going through my stash, the pp with the Chinese lanterns jumped out at me and I thought it went perfectly with my chosen photo. From there I chose coordinating colours and patterns (and of course, Gold since I consider Metallics as neutrals). I also strung jingle bells across the top since the layout is about our trip to China and Hongkong during Chrismas 2015. I thought it added the Xmas spirit to the layout! ;-) But oh, I had forgotten how tiresome stringing all those tiny bugle beads and bells is!
Also strung some to the ends of some fuzzy cut lanterns and as charms to the journaling tag. The light purple paper was created by painting iridescent water colour over textured cardstock since I felt the page needed some 'breathing room' between layers.
The writing on the journaling tag...Oh boy!...this is what happens when you haven't used your various coloured pens in ages...Once I started writing in Purple the pen suddenly started leaking, then I switched to blue and Lo Behold...it stopped working! Finally, I changed to my trusty brown pen...lol
I'm in awe of all you crafters who can write in itsy bitsy size... my kudos to you! Whenever I write in itsy spaces...in bitsy handwriting...prepare for disaster! ;-)

Tfl and have a lovely weekend! :-)
