I'm going to blog about the process of creating this layout (it'll probably post on July 31), so these notes will be a little thin compared to other photos in my gallery. I will say that this chipboard is extremely thick, and the Cricut needed help from an X-acto knife to make the cuts. The sparkles on, “nights,” come from iridescent embossing powder from Ranger, but I'm not sure where to buy it anymore. The text stamp was a TM find, and I don't even know the brand, but I bet any type-style clear stamp would do. The papers are from the Pink Paislee Memorandum collection.
Big thank you to MarciLB for the RAK last month – the wood veneer, “Summer,” and the acrylic stars were in that package.
The title is borrowed from the last line of, “Summer Lovin,” (from Grease).
The photos were taken during our July 4th camping trip – I'm reading a book as the sun goes down, and just about as relaxed as I could be while awake.
