You had to know I'd love the fun Doodlebug prints. Just seeing them makes me happy but add the sweet puppy and I'm smiling ear to ear! The pull tab is super clever. Terrific birthday card!
Pull Tag: In dog years, you'd be dead. Inside: Oh, well....try to have a happy birthday anyway.
So I had an order for above saying on a card. I sent her different dog images and she wanted this one. The only problem is I didn't plan this very well and waited till the last minute...which means I couldn't ask my husband to color it in photoshop because he is working crazy hours with work this week. Sooooo out came the water paper and markers. The hat and bow on the cake didn't turn out so well so I got the brilliant ideal to paper piece those parts. I was so excited that it worked and I only had to color up one image that when I put the card together I forgot to leave a space for the sentiment. Thank goodness I caught it before I glued the top pieces on. So tried several different solutions and she liked the pull tag!! Score!!
