This layout is a wedding gift for my nephew and his bride-to-be that I started last Saturday and finished up yesterday. I had so much fun with it!

I made all the flowers and butterflies from scraps or paint sample cards in my stash! Those roses were challenging and it is the first time I've made any like that. The gold flourishes in the flower cluster were cut from the wedding invitation envelope. I knew I wanted to incorporate that paper in there somewhere. Their wedding colors are burgundy, pinks and champagne gold and this is what I came up with. The picture is mine (and their) favorite of their engagement pictures. I also took a picture of her engagement ring and cropped it down for the gold heart frame.

Special thanks to:

Fran (Quicksilver) for the beautiful wooden intricate heart. I painted it up with TH Spun Sugar distress paint and clear Zing embossing powder.
Melissa (Scraphouse) for the die cut doily under the etched heart at the top.
Brandy (Brandy Lynn) for the little clothespin on the heart (lower right) and the beautiful wooden "Cherish" that I embossed with gold Zing embossing powder.

The gold lace, bling heart, pearl cabochons in the flower cluster and pearl and rhinestone flowers are from Pamela Joy Boutique on FB.

A special touch was adding three buttons from my mom's tin, so Jonah will have something from Grandma on this.

For the Use Your Stamps Challenge, I stamped the phrase and little corners on the lower heart as well as the flourish on the lamp post.

For the Wooden Embellishment Challenge - "Cherish", etched heart, small hearts, intricate cuts on the top left (from Scrapiniec) and wooden lamp post!

All other products not listed here are from HL or the now closed Gone Artsy.

Thank you so very much for stopping by my gallery. I posted several close-ups for those of you with poor eyesight like me to see detail better! :-)
