Chelsea and I took Cole and Emma to Tanganyika Wildlife Park after hearing about it from my friend Kris. It is an interactive zoo outside of Wichita, KS. We were lucky to visit on a cool day in May and wasted no time getting to the park early before the crowds. As we toured the park, our deluxe wristbands allowed us to feed the goats, birds, rhinos, lemurs, giraffes, rabbits and guinea pigs. Ismene the giraffe was happy to let the twins love on her in exchange for some Romaine. Cole & Emma couldn’t get enough of the birds; it was hard to take photos because they were perched all over us! I was terrified of riding the camel, but it turned out to be pretty fun. We couldn’t believe how soft the kangaroos were! We used the feeding schedule provided to make sure we also got to experience the keepers feeding the red pandas, white tigers, & penguins. 05/30/15
