Great punch! We r Memory keepers should have had a picture of how it opened on the packaging. Mine was full by the time I was told to come look at your site! LOL

Push up on the underside of the punch lever, a round plug pops up to reveal the storage of the centre dots. Make sure the black plug is seated correctly before using the punch again.
