I'm an old Farm Girl, so I really appreciate seeing these pictures. Your layout is beautiful and showcases the photos so nice. Thanks for sharing this.
My Trekell ancestors and my childhood. Harvest is the bounty that keeps us for another year. The threshing machine and cook shack of my ancestors was replaced by combines and kitchen runs in my youth. I'd organically started the pieces for a challenge using yellow, which ended before I could put it all together. While recovering from surgery, it won the stare down and I finally finished it. I hope you enjoy! Items of mention: Dusty Attic's Wheat Chipboard, Scrapberries, Words Live Forever collection for the lovely calender& a delightful thrift store find of the centerpiece vintage postcard. The gears and clock are from JoAnn Fabric, Stampendous Crushed Glass Glitter accented paerfectly, especially loving the clock glossing with them embedded. Stitching was differeing gages of DMC quilting thread. The lettering was a fun challenge. The stencils are stash Crafter's Workshop. I enjoyed playing with the texture paste and cheesecloth on the wotherclor paper.
