2016 - Canadian Thanksgiving in the UK - Project Idea

I have a funny Canadian Thanksgiving story for you Tammy! We were on a cruise and the day Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving was in the middle of the cruise. Several of the Canadians had planned with the chefs to have a private Thanksgiving dinner for several hundred people in one of the dining rooms with traditional Canadian Thanksgiving foods including pumpkin pie. Many of us non-Canadian friends were invited to join in and were looking forward to it. Wheels were in motion for this special event. However, once we got into the cruise, the organizers realized that Canadian Thanksgiving was on the day we were crossing the international dateline so the day didn't exist. The ship schedule completely skipped the day. We went from the day before to the day after when we woke up the next morning. They were able to correct it and we had Canadian Thanksgiving the day before for the Canadians and some friends they invited, like us! This is a lovely layout Tammy - and that pie looks so good! Wish I had a piece of it right now. I love fall layouts - they are just such comforting colors to me! Very pretty.
