This is of the last two photos of pre-fire scrapbook pages that I made that I still have to upload here (more cards still to come, though, and that other LO, too). Sharing pages in harder for me than with cards for a number of reasons - chief amongst which is that the pages themselves were all lost in the blaze. Photos of those (pages) from 2013 also went up in flames, so sadly I have no record of all of them (save for my memories of making them). Still, life carries onward and this summer I've been enjoying making a few new pages (and cards) for the first time in many months, and focusing as much as I possibly can on the many positives in my life as it exists today.

This particular layout shows a photo of me as a baby and the journaling disused how I've always been a very independent, free-spirited person - something that came to the foreground all the more for me following last October's tragic events and the process of rebuilding our lives that has ensued.

On a largely unrelated note, I wanted to mention that my husband and I will out of province for the first half of September, so if you don't see as much of me here in the coming weeks, that's why. Looking forward to making new memories and taking some snaps to hopefully scrap later on.
