I always do monthly summary pages in my albums as an overview and to include random odds and ends, if I have any, that won't fit on other LO's. For 2010, I settled on a much, much simpler concept than the themes I used for '08, '09, and '13 because I find I get burned out doing 12 similar elaborate LO's. (You can see the themes I used for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2013, as well as the others for 2010 in my gallery in the Month LO's album.) I am adapting an idea from an old Creating Keepsakes Magazine article for these 2010 monthly LOs.

I've included a selection of photos from the month: my dd and her friends in a dance class and a selfie of me after a hair appointment on the left...Abby in the yard, Cassie at pom camp, Cassie and her dad after recital, Cassie curled up in a chair, my patio, and spirea flowers on the right. I wrote our schedule/calendar info from the month around the outside edge of the left page. The block on the left page serves as a pocket for some 'extras' from the month. eg invitations, news clipping, etc. The little tag near the bottom of the title block documents the book I started that month as part of my project to read the 100 Greatest Books Ever Written. I added a couple brads and did some doodled stitching on the circles and around the block on the left.
