SUPER cute page, Doreen! I've always wanted to go to that theater, but it's never worked out! LOVE your collection of photos and what a cool show to see! Loving the papers you used especially!
I totally dig that bg pp! Super cool photo block as well. I always enjoy your pictures. Your smile is infectious! Now I want to go to the circus no matter what type it is.
Everyone in your photos always looks so happy, Doreena. You must have a very fun family because the joy just oozes out of your pages. I think if I lived in California, I would want to be your neighbor and be part of the fun in your life. More zombie paper, I see. It looks good here - that red just jumps out there and bites! I like the star strip down the right side - it echoes and picks up the other stars in the ticket paper and coordinates everything in a subtle and lovely way. Happy project!
Oh, Pantages--we saw Wicked there in 2007--fabulous theatre and production; would love to go there again, but it's not in our part of the world! and the ticket paper is perfect!
the ticket paper is a really cool addition. So this is not an actual circus but a play about a circus? I have always been enthralled by how they can make a "fake" seem so real. I Remember seeing the Lion King and I NEVER saw the people, just the animals they were portraying.
I heard this had rave reviews! We enjoyed Cirque de Soleil's Kudzu a few years ago that had a similar theme. Your ticket paper would be a great add to one of my UFOs! Thanks for improvising with the paper, because I hope to create/print my own personalized tickets in PowerPoint. Jut need to find the time to do that. Of course I could just use the awesome tickets I got in Pat's RAK.
Love the way you showcased your night at the circus! I like the photos of your family as much (more) than the acts. Still it would have been a sight to see with the "fake" elephants. Amazing what can be done to replace the elephants in these shows. I love your style of scrapping, so fresh and focused on the photos!!
Funny but I need some of that zombie paper for the layout I am working on!! I will have to improvise like you did with using it on a circus page!!!
Journaling: "Last Night we enjoyed the circus...1903 style! David, Madison and Me Pantages Theater 2.19.17"
