This is a birthday card I made for our son. He, DDIL and DD often play euchre with a friend and he complains he always gets 9's and 10's. After he quit laughing, he said the card was a 'keeper'.

The oval on the heart says: 'The Dream …'

If you are not familiar with the game of euchre, the front of the card is the best hand you can get and the inside is the worst. I used COLORBOK Gray Promenade cardstock for the base and printed the card suit paper from the internet. The cards are from a real deck brought at the Dollar Tree for a whole 88 cents.

LC's card was a serious congratulations to her dad while my card is more tongue-in-cheek, but I would have never thought of it if I hadn't seen her beautiful card. I am so grateful for all the talent on this site and the inspiration that talent inspires. I read once on someone's profile that she was the ‘queen of lifts'. I'm sure I'm close to her record (whatever that recorder may be). So again, thank you all for the talent you share and the inspiration.
