Wow, Cindy, this is incredible. Both the record and the layout. What an honor for them and all their fans. I love the denim background and the the bright red and stripes. That homerun flair is perfect. I can't believe that you could extract the players from the lower photo. That is an amazing technique and it looks so perfect. The red banner in the corner with the bats and ball are perfect balance for the players in the opposite corner. Everything is just perfect. I love your fonts and everything else in this layout. Simply amazing and beautifully done!
This is part of the celebration after the Cleveland Indians broke the consecutive wins record for the American League set in 1935. There is only one more record for the National league set in 1926 but there is controversy since one game was a tie. Most elements used on this layout are unavailable but remain in my stash. I used two fonts-lobster, and impact. I extracted the lower photo.
