I have been to many unique and wacky museums in my time but a pig museum is something you won't forget. Hahaha. The photo of the bacon looks interesting. I had no idea there was a famous kind of pig. Thanks for educating me. Your layout is wonderful with the triple matting and the striped border. You always make the most elegant layouts with the most perfect color combination.

A Pig Tale

The journaling says: Our bus tour of Barcelona ended, oddly enough, with a visit to a pig museum and a ham tasting. I must admit, as we walked through the museum with its hologram exhibits about Spanish pigs, I kept wondering, "Of all the amazing things to see in Barcelona, why are we touring a pig museum??!" We knew the tour included something called the "Jamon Experience" but we really had no idea what it was all about. In its defense, however, I will say that we learned all about these very special pigs that are raised in a particular area of Spain and given a very specific diet to produce a special tasting ham that is a renowned delicacy in Spain. The tour ended with a tasting of several varieties of jamon. While Greg, Theresa, and Matt enjoyed the tasting, I did not care for its very strong flavor. I'll stick with my good ol' southern honey baked ham, thank you very much!
