I love the way you made it snow by adding water droplets. Your inking skills are fantastic. Your colors blend together so well. I love the little Santa in the chimney. I didn't know that there was a die that would cut a slider card. I have always just tried to measure and cut my own and they don't slide well. You are enabling me! I love those tiny little polka dots and love the Ho Ho Ho title cut from them. Your stitched cards, the bricks on the chimney and the snow in front and behind the chimney make this look so professional. Adorable.
First, the polka dot paper caught my eye because I love polka dot papers! Second the amazing bg inking that you did, perfect! Love the HO,HO,HO & Santa hiding!:)
When I opened my pack of Odds and Ends from Doodlebug design's new Milk and Cookies collection, I was immediately drawn to this cute Santa die cut. He was originally attached to the chimney but I had a slightly different plan for him and decided to carefully trim him from the top. I created a winter sky background using Distress inks then misting my panel with water and dabbing it with a paper towel. I cut two snow pieces out of white cardstock and traced the top edges using my clear Wink of Stella pen. I used one of my Lawn Fawn slider dies to create a slider for my Santa. I set my Santa up in the slider track so that he pops up and down the chimney, then I layered the rest of my pieces using fun foam. My sentiment was cut using the same red and white polka-dot petite print paper that I used for my outer card mat. I also added holly leaves and tiny heart berries with Glossy accents.
