When I opened my pack of Odds and Ends from Doodlebug design's new Milk and Cookies collection, I was immediately drawn to this cute Santa die cut. He was originally attached to the chimney but I had a slightly different plan for him and decided to carefully trim him from the top. I created a winter sky background using Distress inks then misted my panel with water and dabbed it with a paper towel. I cut two snow pieces out of white cardstock and traced the top edges using my clear Wink of Stella pen. I used one of my Lawn Fawn slider dies to create a slider for my Santa. I set my Santa up in the slider track so that he pops up and down the chimney, then I layered the rest of my pieces using fun foam. My sentiment was cut using the same red and white polka-dot petite print paper that I used for my outer card mat. I also added holly leaves and tiny heart berries with Glossy accents.
